GATE Festival

On January 30th, over 270 third through eight grade GATE students had the chance to participate in a Build, Engineer, Invent festival. Lawrence Hall of Science brought this hands-on design challenge experience to the Atwater Community Center. Students had great fun exploring building in two and three dimensions while discovering the design properties involved in constructing giant structures, bridges, rockets, and more!

WELCOME BACK!!! 2017 was STRONG year for Elmer Wood and we are looking forward to another strong year in 2018!  California has launched a new website designed to help communities across the state access important information about k-12 districts and schools, and I am very excited to report that EW earned a superb report card!
